Position Summary This position is located at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Arizona. The selected candidate will serve as the Luke AFB F‑35 Operations Task Lead. Responsibilities include ensuring proper standardization, coordination, training, and execution of duties by Lockheed Martin security personnel working in Squadron SAPFs. The candidate will interact daily with key government stakeholders and members of Active‑Duty USAF F‑35 Squadrons with confidence, poise, and professionalism. Comfort with problem‑solving, enforcing compliance, making autonomous decisions, and operating in a fast‑paced military flying operations environment is required. Previous experience in military leadership and decision‑making roles would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
Execute tasking from the Luke Site Security Manager (SSM) and/or Security Operations Managers.
Advise and guide Squadron Security Generalists.
Train and mentor Squadron Security Generalists in all pertinent squadron operations, career progression, Squadron SAPF operations, DoD and USAF SAP guidance.
Review and validate SAPF processes and procedures, resources, and documents, as well as effectiveness and efficiency of the Security Team.
Support pre, during, and post deployment/planning and execution.
Support/coordinate Squadron SAPF facility/ICD‑705 issues as required.
Orchestrate simulator facilities day‑to‑day coordination and operations oversight.
Provide coverage to SAPFs in the event of mission impact.
Apply business‑minded and risk‑managed solutions to security issues and business challenges.
Communicate observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
Experience in F‑35 squadron operations and as a Lockheed Martin CPSO.
Expert interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact daily with officers and key government stakeholders with confidence, poise, and professionalism.
Extensive experience with SAP compliance inspections, including the execution of self‑inspections.
Ability to meet scheduled deadlines, multi‑task, remain organized, and provide a professional example to the customer/key stakeholder.
Prior experience working with and implementing Standard Operating Procedures, Security Plans, and Operations.
Comfortable making decisions autonomously and operating in a dynamic military flying operations environment.
