Overview The role owns the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, strategy, and performance for a critical jewelry category (e.g., Earrings, Gold Chains). You collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, leveraging consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis to define an optimal, high‑growth assortment that reinforces Mejuri’s brand positioning.

What You’ll Do Contribute to the Category P&L by executing the comprehensive 360‑degree category strategy (assortment, pricing, promotion, distribution) to meet revenue, GM, and inventory turnover goals across e‑commerce and retail stores. Support Merchandise Planning in building seasonal and annual forecasts, managing Open‑to‑Buy, and ensuring optimal inventory flow. Serve as a key commercial partner in Product Development, providing data‑driven design inputs for new collections and product optimizations. Continuously monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and pricing strategies and share actionable insights with Merchandising. Conduct lifecycle management reviews, recommend product discontinuations, and partner on obsolescence and liquidation strategies. Conduct rigorous pricing analysis and cost & value engineering to align retail prices with target margins and competitive relevance. Coordinate and execute formal price change processes and manage pricing reporting. Assist in defining channel‑specific assortment strategies and support the GTM process, coordinating with Marketing, Brand, and Retail teams. Develop and prepare regular business reviews and insights for the leadership team. Maintain accurate product data across merchandising and product information management systems. Partner with the Director to execute departmental and cross‑functional initiatives and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications 5‑8 years of progressive experience in Merchandising, Category Management, Product Strategy, or Commercial Planning within fine jewelry, fashion, luxury, or consumer goods. Ownership of a category or portfolio P&L, including revenue, GM, and inventory productivity metrics. Hands‑on experience with Merchandise Planning forecasts, OTB, and inventory flow decisions. Proven pricing and margin management experience across multiple channels. Strong analytical orientation, with a track record of using data to inform assortment, pricing, and lifecycle decisions. Experience in an omnichannel environment with understanding of e‑commerce and physical retail dynamics. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency for financial modeling and BI tools. Direct experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Product Development, Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Retail.

Salary range: $100,000‑$125,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. Salary expectations to be reviewed during the hiring process.
