Compensation BASE RATE PER HOUR: $22.50
Shift Night Shift – 12 hour – 2‑2‑3 Schedule (Work every other weekend): 5:45 PM until 6:00 AM
Day Shift – 12 hour – 2‑2‑3 Schedule (Work every other weekend): 5:45 AM until 6:00 PM
Job Summary / Duties The Bakery Processing Operator, under general supervision, is responsible for the safe, efficient and continuous operation of processing/baking machinery.
Operate processing/baking equipment to produce product within guidelines established by Quality Assurance and to the highest possible standard of quality.
Properly mix ingredients; monitor correct temperature/moisture and make adjustments; monitor product and remove any product that is improperly formed or overlapped.
Operate and shut down equipment in the processing/bakery area in accordance with established procedures to include change overs and preventative maintenance.
Communicate and/or escalates quality issues to appropriate team members.
Read and understand batch sheets including following recipes and accurate weighing of raw materials.
Monitor and log current temperatures, mix times item numbers and raw material weights (piece weights of extruded product) and make adjustments accordingly.
Monitor for possible foreign matter.
Follow sanitation procedures for clean ups and change overs, including chemical handling.
Track and dispose of waste accordingly.
Move raw ingredients using material handling equipment including but not limited to forklift and/or pallet jack.
Maintain proper raw material levels at all times, unload raw materials trailer, and keep appropriate personnel updated in raw material needs.
If applicable, monitor correct seasoning coverage amount, make adjustments accordingly.
Practice and adhere to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping/5S and personal protection; keep work area clean; store supplies in designated areas; keep work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions; remove trash from work area floor; follow instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights of objects; identify/reports defective equipment; report all job‑related injuries to supervision.
Mandatory overtime may be required.
May perform other duties as required.
Education / Experience High School Diploma or GED and/or 1 year production experience in a manufacturing environment required. CPT (Certified Production Technician) certification is a plus.

Benefits The starting rate for this full‑time, hourly position is $22.50. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
