This role manages the full sales‑to‑execution lifecycle, from prospecting and contracting through event design and on‑site coordination, serving as the primary liaison between the client and Southall’s multidisciplinary resort teams to ensure seamless delivery, exceptional service, and strong financial performance.

The EMM is both a strategic seller and a detail‑driven event professional, balancing relationship development, revenue optimization, and flawless execution within designated corporate and social markets.

Responsibilities

Drive room, F&B, and ancillary revenue through proactive prospecting, direct sales calls, and relationship development within assigned markets

Prepare and present tailored proposals reflective of Southall’s luxury positioning and experiential offerings

Negotiate rates, concessions, and event spaces in alignment with revenue strategy and brand standards

Achieve and exceed established room night, F&B, and total revenue goals

Sell, plan, and coordinate small meetings, executive retreats, and social events from contract through program completion

Curate event experiences that integrate Southall’s farm, culinary, wellness, and outdoor offerings

Oversee all program details including menus, setups, timelines, and guest flow to ensure a polished, elevated experience

Serve as the single point of contact for clients throughout the sales and planning process

Conduct personalized site visits and property tours that showcase Southall’s story, sense of place, and Forbes‑level service

Anticipate client needs, manage expectations, and resolve issues with professionalism and grace

Foster repeat business through exceptional service and relationship stewardship

Create and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), rooming lists, event timelines, A/V requirements, and billing accuracy

Partner closely with Events, Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, Spa, Activities, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution

Maintain meticulous records within sales and event systems to support operational excellence

Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Revenue Management, Events, and Operations to optimize group strategy and deployment

Participate in internal planning meetings and post‑event reviews to continuously improve processes and guest experience

Actively represent Southall within designated corporate and social markets

Attend industry events, client events, and trade shows as appropriate

Stay informed on luxury hospitality trends, meeting design, and experiential programming

Skills And Experience

Proven ability to sell and close small group and social business in a high‑end hospitality environment

Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow‑through across multiple programs

Polished, confident communicator with clients, partners, and internal teams

Working knowledge of hotel operations, catering, event planning, and service standards

Naturally builds trust, loyalty, and long‑term partnerships

Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable owning outcomes from start to finish

Deep commitment to delivering a Forbes 5‑Star guest experience

Education

High School diploma/GED or equivalent
