Facilities Manager (Oklahoma City, OK) Our Blood Institute

is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to support building and grounds maintenance, ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures. This role involves logistics management, team leadership, technical support, and administrative duties.

Location:

Oklahoma City, OK

Salary:

Competitive based on education/experience plus performance bonuses: $500 after 6 months, $1,000 after 1 year, $1,500 after 3 years.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; occasional after‑hours/weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field, or 5–10 years of managerial/supervisory experience.

Experience in diverse building operations, maintenance tasks, project and expense management.

Hands‑on experience in maintenance/repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.

21 years of age or older, valid driver’s license, and MVR with zero points and no moving/traffic violations in the last 3 years.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee preventive maintenance for equipment, coordinating non‑contract work.

Assist with facility construction projects and renovations.

Manage in‑house maintenance operations, preventive maintenance and repair programs, and ensure operational capability of all OBI buildings.

Coordinate, monitor, and follow up with the Director of Facilities on non‑contract services and other required services (plumbing, elevators, trash, thermostats, parking, fences, sprinkler systems, utilities, fire/security, generators, storage tanks, access control).

Ensure timely completion of work orders, monitor technician performance, and maintain schedules.

Develop, update, and train maintenance staff on OBI policies and SOPs.

Request bids and review proposals for installation/upgrade projects, ensuring cost‑effectiveness.

Schedule/assign technicians for 24‑hour emergency coverage and report status to the Director of Facilities.

Assist with project cost tracking and operating budget for construction projects.

Communicate professionally with employees, vendors, and contractors.

Manage overtime, inspect timecards, approve payroll, and maintain digital reports on audits and preventive maintenance.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
