Base pay range $17.00/hr – $18.75/hr
Are you into video games, bowling, or karaoke? Are you friendly and outgoing? Do you enjoy being around people and working in a fun environment? Then you’re the kind of person we’d love to hire! This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Arcade Department. Please note you must be at least 18 years of age and hold a High School Diploma or GED to apply. Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is preferred.
Essential Duties
Engage customers during assigned shifts to determine whether their needs are met.
Maintain inventory levels of amusement games.
Maintain games and counters clean and visibly attractive to customers.
Respond responsibly and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
Answer phone calls for all general inquiries.
Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Non-Essential Duties
Conduct alcohol and age restriction control according to company policies.
Conduct lost and found procedures according to company policies.
Seek constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways in department work processes.
Comply with and maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or GED.
Minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment preferred.
Work Environment
Work in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
Required to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times; needs to use hands/fingers to handle and reach.
Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
Benefits
1 hour to play (non-prize) arcade games per week.
90 minutes of bowling per week (shoes included).
1 hour of karaoke/billiards per week.
50% discount on food items per working shift.
1 complimentary beverage per working shift.
