Spirit Of The Position Assistant Facilities Manager
oversees operations of a location(s) under the direction of the Facilities Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Assistant Facilities Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).
Schedule Schedule:
Weekends Only
Saturday: 3pm - 1am
Sunday: 12pm - 10pm or 1pm - 12am
Pay:
$21.00-$22.00/hour; non-tipped
Principal Job Duties
Troubleshoot and fix equipment within the operation; obtain a basic level of IT troubleshooting
Work with and schedule vendors to address operational issues
Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of on-site employees
Identify high-potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth
Organize and train parking management skills for Supervisors and Team Leads
Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from operating assigned location(s)
Communicate with the local police department and emergency management teams regarding operations
Assist with event operations within LAZ Parking
Display superior customer service and train others to engage with customers appropriately
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Education/Experience
2+ years in a supervisory role, preferred but not required
Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general Microsoft Office applications
Parking management experience preferred but not required
IT experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands
Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift
