Project Manager – Civil Site Development Engineer

Role Overview The position is located in Orlando, FL. It requires a strong understanding of civil site design and prior experience with water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure design projects. The candidate should have produced residential plans and worked with residential clients in a consulting environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Working knowledge of Civil 3D software is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering plus a registered Professional Engineer license is required.
Typical Duties
Manage one or multiple projects for multiple clients.
Prepare proposals and develop fees.
Visit clients, job sites, and consultant offices as needed to support project and business development.
Monitor scope, schedules, and budget for projects and the business unit.
Manage engineering work and interface with other disciplines as needed.
Create scope of work for projects.
Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas.
May supervise engineers and technicians.
Track projects in accounting software with intermediate/advanced skill.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer license.
Desired Skills
5+ years of experience in the design of public and private projects.
Experience producing residential design plans and working with residential clients.
Experience with civil engineering project management, including scope, schedule and budget development/management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
Business development skills.
Strong leadership qualities.
Understanding of business financial information.
