Base Pay Range $26.11/hr - $38.22/hr
Summary Of Position The Multi‑Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for setup, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of complex mechanical/electrical equipment—including automatic machines, process controls, motor control centers, and computer control systems with human‑machine interfaces—as well as basic plant electrical equipment. This role includes preventive maintenance activities related to production and building equipment, machinery, and components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews and reports personal activities daily or more frequently.
Assists the Maintenance Lead Person and/or Maintenance Manager in determining proper installation and/or repair procedures for mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic equipment.
Notifies the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Lead Person if additional diagnostic tools are required.
Participates in a preventive maintenance program as directed by maintenance supervision.
Assures compliance with safe work practices and company policies at all times.
Assists in establishing and maintaining optimum inventory levels of critical components.
Performs other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Capable of operating a lift truck.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Capable of low‑to‑high voltage electrical work, wiring complex circuits, troubleshooting and correcting faulty logic and control circuits, and performing installations, repairs, and tests on virtually all production and plant equipment.
Capable of light‑to‑heavy mechanical work, general plumbing, carpentry, and repair.
Proficient in the use of basic hand tools, power tools, volt/ohm/amp meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical diagnostic equipment.
Capable of troubleshooting complex equipment.
Familiar with a manufacturing environment and equipment.
Familiar with company philosophy, procedures, and practices.
Possesses a strong mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude.
Mandatory participation in pay‑for‑skill program.
Possesses a strong work ethic and can function effectively with minimal supervision.
Basic PC literacy.
Familiarity with industry safe work practices, including OSHA and PSM‑derived programs.
Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Additional education or work experience (one of the following areas or equivalent experience as determined by the maintenance manager).
Associate’s degree in one of the following majors:
Electrical Technology
Electronics Technology
Mechanical Technology
Military service – minimum 2 years with training in one of the following fields:
Electrical Technology
Electronics Technology
Mechanical Technology
On‑the‑Job Training – minimum 3 years in one of the following areas:
Industrial maintenance – electrical
Industrial maintenance – electronics
Industrial maintenance – mechanical
Physical Demands
Ability to distinguish black and white from colors.
Constant activity (2/3 to Full Day).
Walking and standing regularly.
Frequently performing tasks (1/3 to 2/3 of day) such as talking (telephone/radio or other employees), lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending.
Occasionally (1/3 of day) sitting, typing, writing, working from ladder, scissor lift, or articulated lift.
Work Environment
Jobs performed under varying conditions (dust, oil, grease, hot and humid temperatures, fumes, noise, etc.).
Wearing proper PPE in the manufacturing area (shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection).
