Job Description Presbyterian is seeking a Sales Product Manager to manage and lead quantitative and qualitative market research, data‑driven product development, and multi‑departmental business projects. The role serves as the primary point of contact with external customers, overseeing contract initiation, negotiation, and maintenance of the business relationship.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate, negotiate, and maintain legal contracts for the sales department
Serve as the primary point of contact with external vendors
Develop, generate, present, and maintain statistical reports for senior leadership and recommend areas for improvement
Assess and identify new local and regional markets and facilitate development of new product and service opportunities
Maintain knowledge of PHP/PIC Commercial, ASO, Level Funded, Individual and Family, and Medicare Advantage products
Work with management to assess evaluation needs and project objectives; assist in data‑driven decision making when faced with uncertainty
Frame business questions and determine required data elements for reliable answers
Develop and oversee all aspects of assigned project plans, including objectives, work plans, scope management, and quality standards for success
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or a minimum of 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree in application, development, or implementation of benefit plans associated with HMO, ASO, PPO, POS, LF, Medicare Advantage plans, and/or government programs
3–5 years of health plan experience, portfolio or project management, or other directly related experience
Project Management Institute or Project Management Professional certification preferred; New Mexico Accident and Health or Sickness Insurance License required within 90 days of employment
