Minimum Requirements Associate's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 5 (Salaried).

Position Description The University of Louisville seeks a qualified and experienced Project Specialist to work on a 2-year grant from University of West Florida in collaboration with NSA/NCAE. The candidate will coordinate all aspects of the subaward agreement to train, recruit, and place participants from Cybersecurity programs. This full‑time, benefited position is based on subaward contract 2025‑2027.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Development and Coordination:

Support placement of students who completed UofL cybersecurity module.

Coordinate student placement in apprenticeship programs.

Generate reports, dashboard input, streamline processes.

Assist recruiters in developing and maintaining employer relationships for apprenticeship programs.

Promote positive work experience for students before and after placement through coaching and resource coordination.

Track program outcome data and assist in compiling grant reports.

Promote Cybersecurity pathways modules in the community through presentations and events.

Adapt to opportunities unique to program offerings and meet individual student needs.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Program Materials and Communication:

Support leadership team in developing materials and processes needed for program execution.

Craft and deliver communications to students, faculty, staff, employers, and community organizations.

Manage program website and social media accounts.

Academic Affairs Support:

Collaborate with faculty and staff to align Cybersecurity programs with university efforts.

Support work‑based learning and competency‑based education delivery.

Process UofL micro‑credential badging system.

Communicate within a large university system in a fast‑paced environment.

Represent and support an academic unit and its leadership in external activities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with apprenticeships or work‑based learning programs.

Knowledge of CRMs and data‑based approaches for data analysis.

Commitment to supporting students and recruiters.

Stewardship of government and university resources.

Commitment to equity, social justice, and diversity.

Competencies

Project coordination across stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Target Compensation Maximum: $70,623.00

Minimum: $47,048.00
