Location Lexington, KY
Job Summary The Singletary Center for the Arts is seeking responsible and motivated students from all majors to join us as Ticket Office Associates. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills while being part of the arts community at UK! In this role, you’ll sell tickets to our events, both over the phone and in person at our ticket office. Customer service is key, so a friendly and professional attitude is a must. Daily office hours are Monday – Friday 12pm – 5pm, with plenty of evening and weekend event opportunities in between. No prior experience is necessary – training will be provided on the ticketing system. You may be asked to help out with other ticket office tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Sell tickets to events in-person and over the phone.
Provide excellent customer service to patrons.
Work evenings, nights, and weekends as required by event schedules.
Assist with other ticket office tasks as needed.
Required Education & Experience Required Education:
Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Kentucky.
Preferred Education/Experience:
Previous customer service experience, affinity for the arts.
Physical Requirements May include sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time.
Shift Working hours vary based on event schedules. Includes days, nights, and weekends.
