Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Category Manager based in Orlando, FL. The Mechanical Category Manager will oversee the strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement of mechanical components. Responsibilities include negotiating supplier contracts, managing vendor relationships, analyzing market trends, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards are met. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support operational goals and contribute to the company's growth and success.
Qualifications
Competence in supplier negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration
Deep understanding of mechanical components, sourcing strategies, and procurement processes
Experience with data analysis for cost optimization, market trends, and supply chain efficiency
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Proven capability in project management and cross‑functional team coordination
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in the manufacturing or electronic components industry is preferred
Proficient in using procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
