What to Expect
The Semi Facilities Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring factory utilities meet the demand of the production lines at Semi Factory Nevada. The ideal candidate for this role will have in-depth experience developing and implementing facilities maintenance plans in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable leading and inspiring large teams.
What You’ll Do
Directly manages up to 2 planners and 5 supervisors while handling escalations across all 24/7 shifts
Leads skilled technical staff in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, and facility utility maintenance projects alongside external contractors for complex tasks
Develops policies, procedures, and resource plans for materials and human capital while generating quarterly spend forecasts and maintaining budget adherence
Designs training and growth programs for maintenance technicians to ensure consistent quality standards across shifts
Coordinates maintenance activities with planned production downtime for all building tenants
Acts as incident commander during facility excursions to resolve critical issues
Analyzes activity reports and performance metrics to track productivity and goal achievement
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience with 6+ years supporting semiconductor or battery manufacturing facilities
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per site protocols and obtain OSHA 30 certification within 3 months of hire
Physical stamina for 10+ hours of sitting, standing, walking, computer use, and lifting 10-20 lbs. daily
Work in heavy equipment rooms, chemical storage/distribution areas, and industrial waste plants
Manage I&C projects with familiarity in PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Unity, Wonderware)
Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics and control diagrams
Coordinate maintenance activities across dynamic industrial environments with cross-functional teams
