Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, collect cash on delivery, and pick up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions

Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.

Maintain vehicles clean and complete daily inspections before operating.

Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected money at all times.

Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips.

Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.

Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.

Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.

Clock in/out according to company policy.

Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking/straightening stock, merchandising, errands, handling core returns, checking in and placing stock orders, etc.

Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, or help with merchandising when business dictates.

Complete any other duties assigned.

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point record system.

Possession of a legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.

Desired

Familiarity with automotive parts.

Ability to operate other light store equipment.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
