Manufacturing Machine Operator I (3rd Shift 10pm-6:30am)
Join the manufacturing team at Threshold Enterprises as a Machine Operator I responsible for operating various equipment and carrying out tasks in the manufacture of dietary supplements. Key responsibilities include weighing, granulation (wet and dry), milling, blending, roller compaction, tablet compression, encapsulation, and coating, while adhering to food safety, quality guidelines, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and maintaining required records and documentation.
Specific Job Duties:
Operate machinery and troubleshoot issues involving tablet, capsule, and processing equipment used in the manufacturing of dietary supplements.
Ensure equipment runs efficiently producing high‑quality product safely, sanitarily, and cost‑effectively, meeting company and regulatory standards.
Accurately weigh and mix batches of material.
Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to complete all required documentation in a cGMP compliant manner, including master manufacturing records (MMR), process labels, room and equipment logbooks, and in‑process documentation.
Use an iPad to input production information, including quality data, lot numbers, and quality issues into production management software.
Monitor product and process parameters throughout the process and perform in‑process sampling and/or testing as required.
Communicate manufacturing equipment and facility problems to Manufacturing Leadership.
Assist with plant sanitation and good housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, wiping walls and surfaces, and washing, emptying containers.
Follow all safety practices and guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work outside normal scheduled hours and overtime as required.
Work in a dynamic team environment.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, GMPs, Code of Safe Practices, and SOPs.
Maximize manufacturing uptime while ensuring consistent plant operation performance to quality, productivity, cost, and safety requirements.
Take direction from the Machine Operator II and Team Lead as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by Threshold management.
