Sr Manufacturing Support Specialist At Solstice Advanced Materials, you will lead a team to ensure successful manufacturing support, collaborate on project plans, and drive process improvements. You will report directly to the Director ISC Site Leader and work out of our Colonial Heights, VA location on an onsite work schedule (Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm; occasional night and weekend support may be required).

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of specialists to provide manufacturing support for projects.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute project plans.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex manufacturing problems.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.

Develop maintenance request list, prioritizing preventive and predictive work over routine work.

Develop systems and processes to execute work during the backshift.

Ensure all work requests follow the ME Standard with proper category and fields completed prior to approval.

Develop and/or coordinate Energy Control Procedures and LOTOs so maintenance work can start on time.

Provide support for executing life‑critical permits and develop others to be competent in permit issuing.

Coordinate with Engineering to evaluate maintenance requirement notifications entered into SAP.

Work with Maintenance to advance approved maintenance requirement notifications through to completion.

Work with Safety to ensure written safety procedures applicable to any work planned are provided and followed, and to update them as needed.

Schedule maintenance and repair activities for the site’s production lines to take full advantage of available maintenance time.

Minimize/manage the maintenance backlog.

Communicate status of maintenance requests throughout Operations.

Work with the capital, operations and maintenance groups executing outages, including generation of Gantt charts to schedule work around operations timelines and ensuring minimal return‑to‑production scheduling.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.

Ability to convert the most complex situations into simple solutions.

Supervisor experience in high‑pace, high‑stress environments.

Minimum of 2 years' experience with MS Excel or spreadsheets.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing.

Minimum of 2 years' experience with lock‑out/tag‑out.

Minimum of 1 year SAP experience.

Prior maintenance coordination experience is preferred.

Prior union environment experience is preferred.

Prior knowledge of maintenance excellence processes.

Strong interpersonal and team skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation The annual base salary range for this position is $84,000–$127,000. Salary is determined based on the scope of responsibilities, experience, education, training, key skills, market and business considerations.
