Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Estimator
Location: Wilmington, NC. Base Pay:
$90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year . Additional compensation: Annual Bonus and Sign‑on bonus.
What You’ll Do
Review blueprints, specs, and technical documents to develop precise cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define project scope and budget.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
Prepare detailed bid proposals and project budgets for commercial and residential jobs.
Track costs throughout the project to keep estimates aligned with actuals.
Identify cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and performance.
Stay current on the latest materials, technology, and industry codes.
What You Bring
Experience estimating mechanical and/or plumbing projects.
Strong blueprint reading and technical takeoff skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
