About The Role We are expanding hyperscale AI data center infrastructure in Abilene, Texas and beyond. The MEP Construction Manager will lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing execution, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will manage multiple complex projects, delivering on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Be Working On
Supervise on‑site construction activities for both direct hires and subcontractors, ensuring projects meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Ensure that all MEP systems are installed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes.
Perform inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation deliveries to ensure compliance.
Develop and implement execution plans, including detailed schedules and logistics.
Conduct quality control inspections and coordinate testing and commissioning efforts.
Travel as needed (up to 30%) to oversee multiple project sites.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
5+ years of field experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with knowledge of industry codes and standards.
Experience overseeing large‑scale base‑building projects with multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines, and ambitious goals.
Strong relationship‑building skills with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, juggling schedules, budgets, and project details.
Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Primavera, or similar tools.
