Now, we’re entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Tier 2 IT Systems Support Engineer to strengthen our IT operations by providing advanced technical support, endpoint management, and infrastructure assistance as we scale to meet the needs of a growing, engineering‑driven organization.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Tier 2 escalation point for end‑user and endpoint support across Windows 11 and macOS devices

Manage device enrollment, configuration, and compliance through Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro

Administer user and group access in Entra ID (Azure AD) and other SaaS applications

Maintain device security baselines, including patching, encryption, and MFA enforcement

Monitor endpoint compliance dashboards and remediate vulnerabilities identified by security scan

Support new‑hire onboarding, imaging, and deployment of hardware and software assets

Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and processes in the IT knowledge base

Collaborate with IT Operations and Infrastructure teams to execute approved system or SaaS integration tasks

Participate in IT projects such as migrations, process improvements, and SaaS application administration

Promote best practices within the IT support team and educate end users on acceptable use, security awareness, and effective technology habits

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration or equivalent role

Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems

Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration

Familiarity with Jamf Pro or other mobile‑device‑management (MDM) platforms

Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues

Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Ability to document processes clearly and communicate technical concepts effectively

Understanding of IT security principles and access‑control best practices

CompTIA Security+ certification required, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (ITAR compliance)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)

Exposure to CMMC Level 2 or other regulated‑environment compliance

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 50 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office and IT equipment such as computers, keyboards, servers, and cabling tools. Must be physically capable of installing or replacing workstation and network hardware, tracing cabling in confined spaces, and performing light equipment setup within office or lab environment.

Work Environment This position primarily operates in a standard office setting with periodic work in lab and manufacturing areas. The role requires use of standard office and IT equipment and may involve occasional access to server racks, networking closets, or production areas. Limited travel may be required to PDW facilities, test sites, or vendor locations for project or maintenance activities. The position may involve occasional exposure to non‑climate‑controlled environments, noise, or dust, and may require personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering production zones. This is a fast‑paced, collaborative environment requiring close coordination with engineering, manufacturing, and information‑security teams. Standard work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional after‑hours activities as operational needs require.

ITAR Requirement In compliance with International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b.
