Job Description
At NorthBay Health the Operating Room Equipment Technician is responsible for performing specialized duties as assigned to patients under the direction of the clinical manager to facilitate patient throughput. The technician works as a team member and may be assigned other functions as permitted by the scope of practice. Education
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Licensure
Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS certification required.
Experience and Qualifications
Knowledge of basic surgical equipment/instrumentation preferred.
Basic windows computer skills required.
High level of initiative and must be able to work independently.
Demonstrated effective organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and accept direction in a fast paced environment.
Interacts with patients, staff and visitors in a pleasant, cooperative, and courteous manner.
Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
Actively engages in and supports a culture based on NorthBay Way principles.
Standby and callback availability required.

Compensation
Hourly Salary Range $28.54-$34.68 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
