Job Responsibilities
Complete quality preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all company‑owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and support equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, Swift, etc.).
Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
Disassemble, repair and re‑assemble heavy truck & trailer components.
Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding and identification.
Qualifications
Knowledge of vehicle systems and basic vehicle maintenance preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent training and/or experience required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
Ability to read and understand repair manuals; complete and fill repair orders accurately.
Ability to use and learn various diagnostic software used on tractor/trailers.
Must possess computer skills.
