Roofing Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

The Roofing Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing roofing projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of roofing projects, including commercial and/or residential jobs

Review contracts, plans, and specifications to ensure project requirements are met

Develop project schedules, budgets, and material takeoffs

Coordinate labor crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance

Resolve field issues, change orders, and unforeseen challenges efficiently

Communicate regularly with clients regarding project status and timelines

Ensure projects comply with OSHA and company safety standards

Track costs, approve invoices, and manage job profitability

Complete project closeout documentation and warranty submissions

Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in roofing construction project management

Strong knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, shingles, metal, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors

Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites

Preferred Skills

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Experience with commercial roofing projects

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Customer-focused mindset
