Base Pay Range $30.00/hr – $32.00/hr
Position High Voltage Charging System Component Development & Validation Engineer
Location Auburn Hills, MI, USA
Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from a US ABET or equivalent accredited institution
2-7+ years of relevant professional experience, depending on level
English fluency, both written and verbal
Demonstrated technical report writing ability
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams or SharePoint
Knowledge of the product development cycle with an emphasis on DVP&R, DRBTR, and DFMEA creation & execution
Knowledge of HV charging system or component design, construction, and testing
Knowledge of high voltage and related safe work practices
Be available full-time, on-site at the CTC location in Auburn Hills, MI
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in a related field from an ABET or equivalent accredited institution
5-10+ years of relevant professional experience, depending on level
Previous experience working DVP&R activities for High Voltage Power Electronics, especially High Voltage Power Inverter Modules
Previous experience working DVP&R activities for High Voltage Traction Motors
Previous experience authoring and managing technical specification documents
Experience with source control methods for documentation
Previous Design Release Engineering experience
Previous End-of-Line testing definition experience
Previous experience working in the automotive industry
Knowledge of typical laboratory test equipment including digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, hi-pot testers, low and high voltage power supplies, coolant conditioning units, electric motor dynamometer, ETAS-based data acquisition systems
Previous experience in a leadership role for lead or subject matter expert positions
