About the Role The New Graduate Engineer will provide support to the operation, maintenance, and reliability of the plant, plant’s equipment, and plant’s processes. The New Graduate Engineer will support other members of the engineering team by leading projects, troubleshooting issues, evaluating design/processes, and developing reports/analysis.
The New Graduate Engineer will also be a part of the Holcim US Build4Growth Program. This is an extensive, 14‑month cement manufacturing learning and development program designed to provide new graduate engineers with foundational knowledge and experience on the main operational areas of our cement plants. This program is built on a blended learning approach including online learning, face‑to‑face sessions, on‑the‑job assignments, and projects.
What You'll Accomplish
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Preparing estimates and budgets.
Creating accurate project specifications.
Designing engineering experiments.
Creating technical reports.
Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues.
Finishing projects on time and within budget.
Communicating with clients and coworkers about analysis results.
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
What We’re Looking For Education:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of structural, civil, or similar engineering.
Required Work Experience:
0‑3 years experience.
Additional Requirements
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
