Job Summary We are seeking a Skilled Welder to join our team on the night shift, specializing in the fabrication and welding of components for tanks and vessels. The ideal candidate will interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute precise layouts, utilizing specialized welding techniques including TIG, MIG and plasma cutting, with experience in welding, fabricating and fitting. This position works 6pm-6am M-Th with opportunity for overtime depending on workload.

Primary Functions and Duties

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.

Use specialized welding equipment including TIG, MIG and plasma cutters.

Fit, fabricate and weld components to tanks and vessels such as nozzles, manways, ladders, handrails, platforms, pipe joints, tube-to-tube sheets and thermal jackets.

Follow and enforce strict shop safety regulations such as wearing safety glasses, heat‑resistant gloves, protective masks and safety shoes.

Weld in flat, vertical and overhead positions.

Weld using manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment.

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety; practice good housekeeping.

Work 40 hrs/week minimum plus overtime as needed; current work week is 48 hrs M‑F.

Work with team members to ensure top quality and high standards while welding on stainless steel, carbon steel and high‑nickel alloys.

Ideal Candidate

Read and interpret blueprints and measurements.

Lay out, fit and weld nozzles and other parts per drawings.

Operate an overhead crane.

Pass ASME 6G SCH 80 (SA312 TP316L) 2" pipe test using GTAW process.

Pass ASME 2G plate (SA36 & SA240-304) test using GMAW process.

Pass drug test and background check.

Lift up to 50 lbs. Work safely from a ladder and be able to work inside a tank/vessel.

Have TIG & MIG welding experience; pulsed MIG preferred.

Experience with stainless steel, carbon steel and high‑nickel alloys.
