Solution Consultant
The Solution Consultant at Nimble is a strategic technical advisor who bridges customer challenges with transformative solutions. You’ll combine technical expertise in APIs, Python, and web data with exceptional business acumen to position Nimble as essential for AI‑driven enterprises. The role is NYC based, with three days a week in the office.
What You’ll Do
Lead consultative discovery sessions
to understand customer business challenges, technical architecture, and strategic objectives.
Architect and present custom solutions
that translate technical concepts into business value for stakeholders from C‑suite to engineers.
Execute technical demonstrations and POCs
through live API integrations, Python workflows, and data pipeline demos.
Serve as a strategic, trusted advisor
throughout the sales cycle, guiding architecture and integration approaches.
Collaborate cross‑functionally
with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to translate customer use cases into technical stories, demos, and content.
Drive adoption and expansion
by identifying new use cases and partnering with Customer Success.
Own and deliver custom proposals and solution decks
tailored to stakeholder needs.
Develop reusable technical assets , demo environments, and best practices that enable the broader sales organization.
Lead whiteboarding sessions and solution design workshops
that establish technical consensus and de‑risk implementation across stakeholder groups.
What You’ll Bring Technical Expertise
Working knowledge of Python with ability to read, modify, and run scripts.
Strong understanding of API technologies including RESTful APIs, authentication, rate limiting, and error handling.
Experience with data ecosystems, including databases, data warehouses, and BI tools.
Experience & Skills
4+ years in enterprise pre‑sales or solutions consulting
with demonstrated success in complex, strategic deals ($500K+ ACV).
Proven consultative selling
and solution‑oriented approach.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills , tailoring technical concepts for different audiences.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities , rapidly understanding complex technical environments.
Self‑starter
comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in fast‑paced startup environments.
Expertise in enterprise sales methodologies
(MEDDIC, MEDDICC, Challenger, or similar).
Repeatedly asked insightful discovery questions to uncover true business needs and quantifiable impact.
Bonus Points
Background in AI/ML applications, LLM integration, or AI‑powered products.
Experience in data‑intensive industries (e‑commerce, retail analytics, competitive intelligence, market research).
Experience with value‑based selling frameworks such as Command of the Message.
