Job Overview The Production Supervisor serves as the frontline leader in production operations and holds the first level of management responsibility on the shop floor. This role is accountable for guiding and developing team members, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining DMS’s high standards of safety, quality, and performance. As a key driver of operational success, the supervisor fosters a positive, value‑driven culture while aligning team efforts with business objectives. This position is for C Crew – 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (Fri & Sat) and 6:00 pm to 4:30 am (Sun & Mon).
Responsibilities
Lead & Develop Teams: Mentor, coach, and motivate team members to foster accountability, inclusivity, and high performance.
Drive Communication & Collaboration: Ensure open, transparent information flow across shifts and departments to resolve challenges quickly.
Manage Operations & Resources: Oversee schedules, attendance, and resource allocation to meet or exceed production targets.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement efforts by reducing downtime, minimizing scrap, and driving efficiency through team‑driven ideas and best practices.
Ensure Quality & Safety: Enforce standards, monitor compliance, and take corrective action to protect employees and safeguard product quality.
Support Performance Management: Conduct evaluations, recognize and reward high performance, address disciplinary issues fairly, and support ongoing learning and development.
Respond to Change: Adapt quickly to evolving priorities, customer needs, or production challenges, ensuring resilience and agility on the shop floor.
Demonstrate Adaptability and Responsiveness: Quickly adjust to shifting priorities, market demands, or unexpected production challenges to maintain team agility and resilience.

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within an automotive or manufacturing setting.
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Strong hands‑on knowledge of manufacturing processes with excellent problem‑solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven adaptability, resilience, and a strong drive for results.
