In this role, you’ll combine hands‑on engineering with advanced measurement and automation systems to drive quality, efficiency, and innovation on our production floor.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves solving complex problems, optimizing processes, and working with state‑of‑the‑art equipment in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
The role is a fully on‑site role located in our Lincoln, CA.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
As our Automation Engineer / CMM Programmer, you’ll:
Design, develop, and support automated manufacturing systems, robotics, and process control equipment.
Program, operate, and maintain CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
Create and manage inspection routines, first article inspections, and dimensional reports to ensure parts meet all GD&T and quality standards.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot automation issues and continuously improve equipment performance.
Implement process automation, robotics integration, and Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance throughput and reduce waste.
Support new product launches by developing automated inspection and assembly processes.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards through accurate documentation and calibration practices.
What We’re Looking For
Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in automation engineering, robotics, or CMM programming.
Hands‑on experience with CMM programming and interpreting GD&T.
Solid knowledge of PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
Exposure to robotics, vision systems, and automated inspection technologies is a plus.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
