Advanced Process Controls Engineer – Aerospace Materials
We’re hiring an
Advanced Process Controls Engineer
to support process design, automation, and production optimization for our aerospace materials manufacturing operations. This is a hands‑on role focused on developing and implementing advanced controls, supporting a
new Greenfield facility , and driving high‑efficiency, high‑quality manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize process controls for aerospace manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot and improve production processes across all stages.
Develop RFQs/SOWs, manage vendors, and oversee equipment installation.
Lead documentation efforts: SOPs, technical manuals, training materials.
Support capital projects, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
Hands‑on experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, automation systems, and process troubleshooting.
Background in aerospace, advanced materials, or high‑spec manufacturing.
Experience managing vendors and leading equipment/process projects.
Strong technical writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Greenfield experience and Lean/Six Sigma are a plus.
