Base Pay Range $40,000–$43,680 per year.

Summary The Entry Level Install Technician will be responsible for installation functions on semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment. Company pays for travel within the US.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist experienced technicians with tool install activities.

Work around chemicals; proper training and handling will be provided.

Complete preventive maintenance setups, leak checks, and quality checks on semiconductor equipment and components.

Assist with parts receiving, staging, and inspection.

Perform equipment maintenance on peripheral components such as leak‑check detectors.

Act as a PM team member to complete maintenance activities with team and subcontractors.

Perform maintenance at any designated location in the Fab or sub‑fab across the work site.

Review documentation such as SOPs to remain up to date on all processes and procedures.

Remain dynamic, and prepared to complete scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance activities.

Use computers for training and to maintain required maintenance logs.

Frequently required to wear a respirator and work in confined spaces.

Occasionally working near moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, and around fumes or toxic chemicals.

Noise level usually moderate.

Lifting

Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.

Chemical hazards mitigated by engineering controls; PPE required (eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel‑toed shoes, hearing protection, respirator).

Must safely access indoor/outdoor inspections (ladders, stairs, catwalks).

Requirements

High School Diploma.

Pass a 10‑panel drug screening and background check.

Use a respirator during work if applicable.

Work a compressed 4/3 day per week rotation with 12‑hour shifts; night and day shifts may be available; flexibility ideal.

Experience with basic hand tools in a professional or personal setting.
