Sliger & Associates Inc. is a Port Orange, FL based land surveying and engineering services firm that has been family‑owned and operated for more than 50 years. We are looking for drug‑free, experienced, hard‑working individuals to join our team in the following full‑time position: SIT / Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS or PSM) / Senior Project Manager.
YOU MUST BE AN SIT OR HAVE AN ACTIVE PLS or PSM LICENSE. WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF SURVEYORS TO TRAIN AND HELP GET LICENSED.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSED SURVEYOR (PLS or PSM): This individual must be able to quickly adapt in a very fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. You must have prior Project Management experience at a land surveying firm, specifically working directly with Construction Services projects, Land Development, Design, Wetlands & ALTA surveys. This role is expected to meet tight deadlines, efficiently manage time and set job budgets for crews and CADD to adhere by.
Mastery of Auto CADD / Carlson surveying software
Mastery of Windows OS and all MS office products
Ability to accurately estimate bids and calculate job profitability
Superior accuracy in a high-volume environment
Problem solver; ability to research discrepancies
Impeccable organization skills
Manage several crews & CADD techs; provide daily direction of tasks
Ability to adapt and perform with little or no daily direction
You must be presentable and work with our office management and clients in a very professional manner
