Construction Manager
We’re partnered with a general contractor seeking a Construction Manager to lead multifamily projects from preconstruction through delivery. This role is ideal for a field‑driven leader experienced with ground‑up apartment, mixed‑use, or podium‑style construction who can drive schedule, quality, and cost control across multiple trades.
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr – $135,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities for multifamily projects
Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and site logistics
Coordinate with development, design, and ownership teams
Lead subcontractor meetings and ensure trade coordination
Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
Enforce safety programs, quality standards, and building code compliance
Drive unit turnover, inspections, and successful project closeout
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
Qualifications
5+ years of construction management experience
Proven background in multifamily construction (garden‑style, podium, wrap, or high‑rise)
Strong knowledge of wood‑frame, podium, and/or concrete construction methods
Experience managing multiple subcontractors and aggressive schedules
Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and critical‑path schedules
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
OSHA 30 certification
