Description Asplundh is currently hiring a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role you will provide civil structural design expertise for major clients, lead projects and teams, and manage client relationships. You will work alongside our leadership team, demonstrating in-depth understanding of civil structural engineering across varying markets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead civil structural engineering design across various market sectors
Lead the detailed civil structural design of transmission and substation projects
Manage relationships with assigned clients
Lead project teams
Manage deliverables and the workload of team members to adhere to deadlines and budget
Respond to RFP and changing order requests
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Civil Structural Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer preferred
10 years of cumulative experience
Experience in engineering foundations, structures, and metal buildings
Expert knowledge of engineering standards, including NESC, IEEE, ACI, AISC, IBC, ASCE, and ASTM
Strong written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English
Expert‑level knowledge of industry software such as MFAD, LPILE, STADD, RISA, AutoCAD, & MicroStation, etc.
