Role Overview The Fabrication Associate is responsible for creating finished products based on drawings and material cut lists provided by the Manufacturing Project Manager.

Responsibilities

Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches and to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.

Perform a variety of manual tasks to support operations in manufacturing environment ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely within given time frames.

Able to read a tape measure and gauges, type of materials according to specifications.

Perform mathematics, convert decimals to fractional equivalents and fractions to decimal equivalents.

Layout, measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials.

Set up, operate and maintain fabricating machines and knowledge of air/hand tools.

Inspect parts for accuracy and produce quality products consistently.

Performs additional duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Education GED - High School Diploma.

Technical knowledge of machinery, tools, gauging and fabrication.

Role requires 1 year of fabrication experience.

Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to solve problems.

Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal).

Proven experience with quality control analysis.

Basic knowledge of math and geometry.

Thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Detail-oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach.

Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
