The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Ludington that are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians. Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical and electronic faults in industrial machinery and production lines.

Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations.

Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, electrical codes (e.g., NEC), and company policies.

Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting, programming, and system modifications.

Calibrate and test electrical equipment and instrumentation to ensure accuracy and proper function.

Recommended Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent state license.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Demonstrated experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and industrial control systems.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems, machinery, and automation equipment.

Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and other relevant safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming and optimization (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell).

Experience with industrial robotics maintenance and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).

Advanced knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and servo systems.
