$140,000 – $200,000 per year.
Job Details We are a leading national contractor specializing in electrical construction, with deep experience in transmission, distribution, substations, EPC, and storm‑restoration work. We’re seeking a highly skilled Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The role focuses on high‑voltage substations, electrical transmission & distribution, and utility‑scale projects. Ideal candidates have experience with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed, accurate electrical estimates for construction projects based on technical drawings and specifications.
Analyze and compute material costs, labor costs, and timeframes.
Utilize Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid to create and modify electrical estimates.
Evaluate and recommend electrical systems and products based on specifications, test data, and customer requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand scope and requirements.
Review blueprints and electrical schematics for high‑voltage substations, transmission lines, and distribution projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical estimation, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid.
Extensive knowledge of high‑voltage substations, electric power transmission, and EHV transmission lines.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, products, and the construction industry.
