We are seeking a highly skilled Structural/Civil Engineer to design and analyze heavy industrial structures and components. This role involves producing and reviewing structural calculations and drawings, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and providing engineering support throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities
Produce and check structural design calculations and drawings.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, project teams, and plant contacts.
Develop project scope and man-hour estimates.
Coordinate design activities with other engineering disciplines.
Provide schedule and staffing input for projects.
Prepare cost estimates and material takeoffs.
Support plants and construction teams during all project phases.
Travel occasionally to construction sites and client locations.
Required Skills & Experience
Detailed knowledge of structural steel and concrete design principles and industry methodologies.
Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects with a high level of initiative.
Working knowledge of plant facilities and heavy industrial structures.
Proficiency with structural codes and standards (ACI 318, AISC 9th–15th Editions, ASCE 7, IBC).
Experience with design software such as STAAD PRO, Ansys, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SP Mats.
Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
