Position Summary In your role as an Equipment Technician, you'll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set‑up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in‑line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/processes/systems are running effectively.

Troubleshooting: conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.

Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.

Working collaboratively on a fast‑paced team.

Skills and Qualifications

Any 2‑year technical certification (TTI, ITT, Trade Cert, HVAC, etc); 3+ ASE certs or 4 years Semiconductor Technician experience (no cert, passes test) or 4 years equivalent technical Military service.

Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.

Skilled in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes also required.

Strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement in fast‑paced, changing environment.

Familiar with TPM concepts.

Strong attention to detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.

Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs.

Ability to work off‑hours if necessary.

Electro‑mechanical aptitude, basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and related equipment.

Night Shifts Include

B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays.

D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays.

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour – $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
