Direct Hire Search Consultant at Manpower
Our client, an established medical device manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their team! The Tool and Die Maker assesses tool condition, troubleshoots complex tools, and works closely with engineering on tooling issues and design improvements. $40 - $50/hour Responsibilities
Inspects highly complex tools (molds & dies) for damage and wear to assess overall condition. Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts. Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations. Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances on new and existing designs. Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years related experience as a Toolmaker. Understanding of various tool steels and how they relate to the appropriate application. Knowledge of small miniature molds is a plus. Experience with medical grade resins is a plus.
