Control Planning Specialist
to join our team in
Richmond Hill, Georgia . This position is responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process is efficient, cost‑effective, and delivers high‑quality products on time, while also coordinating with other departments and managing resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive plant control, including production planning and production performance analysis.
Job Description
Act as the initial point of contact for the customer (HMGMA, HMMA, KaGA) production plan and monitor customer production plan changes and irregular orders
Inform related departments about changes to the production plan (Schedule, UPH, shift plan, volume, working hours, CKD / pilot car order)
Adjust production plans with the customer as needed (in case of logistics, production, or quality trouble)
Maintain the EDI process (Customer ↔ Mobis) and conduct contingency plans when trouble with Broadcast
Maintain the work order process and production information in MES (Line assembly code, Broadcast data, Fool‑proof barcode key data, Working time pattern)
Maintain JIS Lead time information (Docking station, Delivery Lead time)
Collect and maintain production index in MES, ERP, or manually (actual vs. planned, working time, hour per unit, downtime, OEM line stop, production CUM, inefficient expense, scrap cost, line assignment efficiency, and overtime)
Prepare monthly/weekly production reports (production index analysis and improvement)
Ensure the accuracy of production index system data (system vs. actual)
Make an irregular plant comprehensive report
Maintain plant information and index
Respond to Korea headquarters requirements
Support/perform special projects as necessary
Supervisory Responsibilities No, but potentially responsible for supervising and managing a team of employees, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback as needed in the future.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry‑specific experience required
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and organize large sets of data
Dynamic & Self‑Driven: You thrive amidst ambiguity, taking initiative and making things happen with little to no instructions
Be inquisitive: Don't be afraid to ask questions in ambiguity to get a clear picture
Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Strong sense of responsibility
Detailed knowledge of Just in Sequence processes and systems in the Automotive industry
SAP (PP/MM/SD module) and MES experience
Comprehensive problem‑solving skills across the plant
Excellent Leadership skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure environment
Ability to speak and write in Korean is not required but is a plus
