Parsons is now hiring for both a
Senior Roadway Engineer in the Nashville area
to work on major infrastructure projects that change the fabric of our community.
Your projects could include new
roadway designs, interstate widening/expansions, roundabouts, intersection improvements, and roadway or bridge rehabilitations
- just to name a few!
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately
Extract engineering information from CAD drawings
Prepare engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes
Frequently interface with other Engineering disciplines and other departments
Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials
Review supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses
Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents
Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the same project
May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances
May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate
What Qualifications You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
8+ years of related work experience
Professional Engineer registration
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
Previous and relevant DOT experience
Security Clearance Requirement None
Salary Range $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
