Your Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-driven Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the general ledger maintenance and monthly close processes across multiple legal entities. You will also assist with financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and tax planning coordination to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset. What will you do?

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple legal entities.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and cash flow projections.

Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including creation of journal entries.

Analyze financial data to support client reporting, budget variance analysis, and business insights.

Collaborate with tax teams on planning and compliance matters.

Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to policies.

Post investment activity, perform bank reconciliations, and support payroll processing.

Conduct covenant compliance calculations for borrowers and tenants.

Prepare complex financial reports and present findings to management and clients.

Support financial audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business-related field

Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred

CPA, MST, MBA, or CFP certification

Experience with QuickBooks, Yardi, Datafaction, or CCH Axcess/ProSystem

Prior experience working with high-net-worth individuals and closely held entities.

Familiarity with tax planning and compliance for individuals, S-corps, partnerships, and trusts

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands to operate standard office equipment.

Occasionally required to stand, walk, crouch, and lift items up to 15 pounds

Standard office environment with moderate to loud noise level

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $$65,000-$80,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
