Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and strategic recommendations.
Direct cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
Develop and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
Lead the financial audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making and drive profitability improvements.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, including ERP utilization.
Recommended Qualifications
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification highly preferred.
Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing methodologies specific to manufacturing.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
Proven ability to lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Bonus Qualifications
Advanced proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience leading or actively participating in ERP system implementations or upgrades.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their financial impact.
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
