Compensation $25 - $30 hourly (based on experience)
Job Duties
Climb trees using DRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
Properly diagnose insects, weeds, and fungal conditions, and determine pest prevention methods.
Continuously monitor lawn quality and fertilizing methods after application and communicate progress to customers and supervisors.
Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully, including pruning, thinning, and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy, removal of hazardous trees, and proper maintenance of all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
Qualifications
Love of the outdoors.
1-2 years of landscape experience.
Preferred: background in forestry, horticulture, landscaping, or working at heights.
Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
