Introduction
My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new one to two year remote Radiology Imaging Implementation Analyst opportunity available for a major firm located in Saint Louis, Missouri. I am available at any time to speak with you, so please feel free to call me.
Eligibility
The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be a U.S. citizen. No Visa entanglements or H1‑B holding company submissions are accepted.
Compensation
This position pays $65.00–$72.00 per hour on a W‑2 basis.
Project Summary
This project will standardize and rationalize the radiology and cardiology clinical imaging platforms across the firm’s markets. These hospitals currently have standalone PACS systems for cardiology and radiology; the project will standardize and rationalize these on the IBM Watson Health imaging suite of applications (MERGE PACS on both sides) and will host the archives on IBM data centers. It is a hybrid cloud implementation: IBM’s cloud will store a portion of the images while on‑prem business continuity hardware will be deployed in each market to provide failover. The role is remote with 25‑35% travel, focused on CST and EST markets, and involves traveling to go‑live sites every two months (sometimes every other month) with payment for travel time and expenses except for liquor and seat upgrades.
Requirements for This Role
Minimum 2 years of experience working with MergePACS for this role.
Strong MergePACS or Merge Unity experience on the radiology side.
5+ years as a PACS administrator or implementation analyst focused on radiology implementations.
Experience creating worklists and performing go‑lives with strong PACS skills; the ideal candidate will work on Biomed and update modality work lists (MWL).
Very strong troubleshooting skills; experience migrating thousands of modalities is a plus but not required.
Solid understanding of configuring modality machines for hospital storage and query.
Travel up to 25‑35% with schedule set by go‑live dates.
Nice to Have
Experience with ServiceNow.
Knowledge of hanging protocols and migration workflows.
Preference for EST, MST, and CST time zones; open to PST for a stellar candidate.
Interview Process
The interview process includes an initial phone or virtual interview screening.
