We are seeking a talented individual to join our Construction team at Marsh. This role will be based in one of our larger Central Zone Marsh offices in the United States and is a hybrid position requiring in‑office presence at least three days per week.

Sr. Client Advisor – Construction What can you expect?

Independently oversees and manages large or complex accounts, bringing the entire team together to formulate procedures and go‑to‑market strategies.

Maintains a near‑complete understanding of clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies, and risk‑management needs to provide timely advice.

Utilizes expert risk knowledge and industry/insurance marketplace insight to review clients’ exposures and loss experience, developing solutions for complex needs, including recommending additional products and services.

Develops, presents, and oversees the execution of renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement, Advisory Leaders, and Client Executives across all zones where product, industry, or account criteria dictate.

Presents to prospective clients, identifies needs for new products, and develops innovative solutions to gain new clients and projects.

Builds and maintains relationships with clients, ensuring that complex risk‑management needs are appropriately met.

Oversees the production of client deliverables and delivers the final placement to the client to ensure quality of materials.

Engages in independent senior‑level client interaction, demonstrating expertise in problem‑solving, coverage areas, and client relationships.

Serves as a thought leader within the company and maintains in‑depth knowledge of changing risk and insurance market conditions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 8 years’ construction experience in a risk management or brokerage capacity.

Working knowledge of insurance coverages.

P&C license required, or ability to obtain one.

CPCU, ARM, or other insurance designations a plus.

Excellent analytical, project‑management, and problem‑solving skills.

Office‑based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
