Position Summary The Line & Ramp Lead is responsible for leading the assigned shift, serving customers, and ensuring all line and ramp operations comply with Jet Aviation policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

A minimum of two years’ related experience as a line service technician or relevant training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is strongly preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Results‑oriented with a strong sense of personal accountability and the ability to execute tasks effectively.

Demonstrates strong initiative and the ability to work independently with self‑direction.

Capable of performing supervisory duties in the absence of the supervisor.

Demonstrated knowledge of refueling procedures for both general aviation and corporate aircraft.

Proficient in towing procedures and techniques for aircraft handling.

Strong ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Flexibility to work varied schedules and adapt to different weather conditions.

Ability to successfully complete and obtain certification from the NATA Line Service training program.

Capability to secure a Motor Vehicle Operating Permit (MVOP) within 30 to 60 days of employment.

Requirement to obtain an Airport ID Badge within 30 days of hire.

Main Responsibilities

Review timecards of shift team members, create schedules, and monitor overtime usage to ensure efficient workforce management.

Serve as the primary point of contact for shift communications, implementing management directives and coordinating training requirements relevant to the team.

Oversee the overall operation of the flight line in accordance with established procedures, including fueling, hangar stacking, towing, aircraft ramp parking, service equipment management, and facilities maintenance.

Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures by effectively managing employees in the absence of the Senior Manager.

Utilize hand signals to safely guide aircraft during arrivals and departures.

Maintain clear communication with employees and flight crews via radio to deliver exceptional customer service.

Assist in providing aircraft with essential services such as de‑icing, coffee, catering, and other necessary support.

Work Schedule and Compensation The position is a 24‑hour operation, 7 days a week. The initial shift assignment may change over time based on business needs.

Base hourly pay: $20–29 Equivalent annual pay: $43,000–62,000 Performance‑based bonus up to 5% of annual salary.

Physical Demands and Work Environment The role requires use of hands, frequent standing, walking, and occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Regular lifting of 10–25 pounds, occasional lifting of 50 pounds, and lifting above the head. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The work environment includes heavy maintenance areas and upscale customer spaces with moderate to loud noise during aircraft arrivals and departures, vibration, and occasional fuel fumes. Work may be in all weather conditions and temperature extremes.
