Summary

ENERFLEX is seeking a skilled Millwright/Mechanic with strong technical expertise and hands‑on experience in gas compression equipment with proven ability to work on compressors, engines, motors, and associated systems. Qualified candidates will demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship under deadline‑driven environments. Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Execute and oversee daily operations related to the installation of rotating equipment. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for production activities. Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and accountability. Mount, set, and align reciprocating compressors, engines, and motors. Perform coupling alignments using precision laser alignment devices. Conduct measurements with micrometers and dial indicators. Heat, install, and secure coupling hubs. Perform soft foot pull‑down checks on compressor, engine and motor feet. Install and align cooler sheaves and belts. Perform rod run‑outs, crosshead clearance checks, and adjust piston end clearances. Install distance piece supports and execute proper lift per manufacturer specifications. Install, level, and align compressor cylinders. Read and interpret compressor component balance sheets and lubricator block diagrams. Mentorship Responsibilities

Provide hands‑on training and guidance. Support professional development through regular feedback and coaching. Serve as a role model for company values and operational excellence. Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in the Gas compression and Gas processing industry. Experience with ER82 flatness test on compressor frames using precision laser alignment devices is preferred. Strong understanding of P&ID knowledge. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast‑paced environment. Experience mentoring or supervising others is preferred. Physical Requirements

Fast‑paced general shop environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic and international travel is possible on occasion. About Us
