Government Training Engineering - Mechanical Design Engineer (Entry Level) Join the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering team creating and implementing innovative technologies that enable the future of aerospace.

We provide engineering design and support, including aftermarket modifications, and are innovating to make product and services safety even stronger.

This Entry Level Mechanical Design Engineer will design, develop, manufacture, and maintain aircrew and maintenance training devices for a variety of military fighter aircraft (F‑15, F‑22, T‑7, T‑38) at Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities

Analyze system requirements.

Translate system requirements into detail part, assembly, and installation drawings.

Create documentation to capture system interface definition.

Test and validate hardware to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Resolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.

Experience coordinating requirements with cross‑functional engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Siemens NX modeling software or other similar design tools.

Experience with data analysis of system data.

Experience with test‑driven development.

Additional Requirements

100% onsite at Hazelwood, MO.

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.

Position may offer relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay & Benefits

Base pay range: $66,300 – $96,600 (based on experience and qualifications).
